Safety is the foundation of every sustainable change.

Many people spend their lives trying to "think" their way out of stress, or use willpower to line their path to growth. But, if your nervous system doesn't feel safe, your brain will not usually find or stick to the strategy it needs to move forward.

I created Free to Be because I saw a need for a practice that respects both the humanness of the body and the aspirations of the mind. I believe nervous system safety is the foundation of every sustainable change.

From Procrastination and Shame to Growth.

For a long time I blamed being stuck on not trying hard enough, procrastination, or simply not having the right strategy.

Through my own personal work and learning alongside others, I realised that our struggles are directly related to a lack of nervous system safety. I learned that internal distress has a direct effect on our ability to think, to do, and to be. When our nervous system feels threatened it prioritises survival over growth.

This is why my practice is different. I don't just focus on the growth, I ensure the foundation is settled enough to support it. When the nervous system safety is established, freedom isn't something you chase - it becomes your natural state.

As a result I have integrated:

  • Life Coaching & Solution Focused Counselling (The Strategy).

  • Tomatis® (The Foundation - Creating nervous system safety through emotional regulation & reduced sensory overwhelm).

With a developing foundation of Solution Focused Counselling,  we don't dwell in "brokenness." Instead we locate the origins of your patterns and understand them, and build on the strengths you already have.

The Sensory Listener

As a certified Tomatis® Practitioner, I understand how auditory processing impacts our ability to stay regulated and focused. I help tune the ear, brain and Vagus Nerve to work in harmony, reducing overwhelm.

Free to Be is not a Medical or Mental Health Agency or Service.  We are not qualified medical or mental health professionals.  Our training is to help clients move beyond life challenges that they believe are holding them back, so they can experience a greater quality of life.  
As a qualified Life Coach, we welcome people wanting to improve their quality of life.
As a student or trainee Solution Focused Counsellor we support people wanting to improve their quality of life, through honouring their past to create change in the present and their future.
We are trained in Tomatis® auditory retraining and are passionate about Tomatis support for ADHD and other neurodiversities, emotional dysregulation and burnout.
